Sights

South Tyrol’s most picture-perfect spots are all located in the surroundings of Hotel Alpenrose. And we are happy to share them with you: so you can post them on Instagram or save them to your photo album.

Lake Carezza/Karersee

The photo spot par excellence and a stunning natural jewel: Lake Carezza/Karersee. In its crystal-clear, turquoise waters the peaks of Mt Latemar and Mt Catinaccio/Rosengarten are reflected, and dark forests line the shore. The lake itself is a protected natural area. Therefore, bathing is not allowed. A circular trail leads you around the shore in about 20 minutes.
